How to use and maintain forklift batteries correctly? Tianxing Forklift tells you!
Liquid level: If the liquid level is lower than the rated value, it will shorten the battery's service life. Moreover, too little electrolyte can cause the battery to overheat and get damaged. Therefore, it is necessary to frequently check whether the electrolyte is sufficient.
2. Terminals, wires, and covers: Regularly inspect the oxidation and corrosion conditions of the battery terminals and wire connection points. At the same time, check whether the cover plate is deformed or overheated.
3. Appearance: A dirty battery surface may cause leakage. The surface of the battery should always be kept clean and dry.

2 Maintenance and charging precautions
1. Add water: Add distilled water to the specified liquid level. Do not add too much distilled water to extend the water addition interval. Adding too much water will cause the electrolyte to overflow and result in leakage.
2. Charging: During the charging process, the battery will produce gas. Ensure that the drug loading area is well-ventilated and free of open flames around. Meanwhile, the oxygen and acidic gases produced during the charging process will have an impact on the surrounding environment. Unplugging the charging plug during charging will generate an electric arc. The plug can only be unplugged after the charging switch is turned off. After charging, a large amount of hydrogen will remain around the battery. Open flames are not allowed. The cover plate on the battery should be opened when charging.
3. Maintenance of terminal posts, wires and covers: It must be carried out by professional technicians designated by the manufacturer.
4. Cleaning: If it's not too dirty, you can wipe it clean with a damp cloth. If it is very dirty, please remove the battery from the vehicle, rinse it with water and let it dry naturally.
